Sugar is a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he manages client relationships and leads deal execution. He brings extensive experience across public and private markets, with a career focused on advising executives, family offices, and institutional investors on global investment opportunities spanning private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds.

Prior to Goldman Sachs, Sugar served as Managing Director at Clearstead, where he advised ultra-high-net-worth families on investment strategy and led the Seattle office's Private Capital Review.

Sugar earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Whitman College and is currently an MBA candidate at the University of Washington Foster School of Business. As a Summer Search alumnus, he is passionate about expanding educational and career opportunities for first-generation and underrepresented students. Previously, he was Co-Chair & Board Member of Summer Search’s Bay Area Associate Board.
