Jeff Shih is an Associate General Counsel at OpenAI, where he advises on law enforcement, national security, and cybersecurity matters. Previously, he was a Senior Security Counsel at Google, where he advised on similar issues and informally mentored more than 100 recent college graduates working as legal compliance specialists. Before going in-house, he served as a federal prosecutor at the U.S. Department of Justice. He lives in San Francisco and enjoys traveling whenever he can.
