In 2025, Summer Search reached an incredible milestone: 35 years of serving young people.

This year has been one of reflection and action. Just as we ask Summer Searchers to step into new challenges, we’ve taken time to reflect on who we’ve been, how we’ve done, and what it means to become something new.

Since our founding in 1990, Summer Search has continued to evolve to meet the needs of young people. Today’s participants are navigating a rapidly changing world, one shaped by constant connection and emerging technologies like AI, and we are adapting alongside them while continuing to be true to who we are.

We are, and have always been, an organization committed to developing purpose-driven leaders. We know our why and that hasn’t changed.

Last year, we launched a new strategic planning process, introduced centralized career services, and expanded our Depth Mentoring model through external trainings.

As we step into 2026 following a year of reflection and celebration, I hope you will stand with us as we look to the future with clarity, care, and courage and evolve—together.
