In her own words:
I am a 17-year-old student and artist at Kipp Academy Lynn Collegiate. I come from an Afro-Latinx household; one of six kids. I have always been inspired to created artwork that reflects my personal experiences and my identity as a queer Black woman.
My experience with creating has provided a lens that not only guides me in my artistic journey but also as a continuous learner. It has taught me to enjoy the process of gaining knowledge. I will continue to share these perspectives across all of my work, both in STEM fields and in the arts.
I aspire to attend college in order to further my artistic pursuits and delve into the captivating intersections of creativity within the realm of science. My intention is to channel my innate desire to create and leverage it towards the development of groundbreaking technologies that bring substantial benefits to humanity. With an unwavering commitment to the creative process, I aim to employ the same lens I have been trained to utilize in my artistic endeavors across various domains, allowing me to gain deeper insights into the inner workings of our world.
Every atom of every new development requires adaptability, creativity, and resilience in spite of the obstacles ahead. Making art means to create even in the depths of heartache. Everything is art. Knowledge is art. The universe is art. Humans are art. Life is art.
Existence and everything in it must be cherished and explored with an open mind and flexibility. To me, studying science and art is to turn every obstacle into tools and beauty.
