Angel was born in Seattle and grew up in the Des Moines/Kent area. She is a first-generation college student who graduated at Seattle Pacific University with her B.A in Global Development. She has a passion for building community and mentorship with youth from diverse backgrounds, as well as empowering student voices. Before joining Summer Search, she worked as a Youth Program Coordinator at Southwest Youth and Family Services, working with middle and high school students to support personal enrichment and academics.

Outside of work, Angel loves to crochet, cook, surround herself with friends and family, and traveling around the world.
