Wanda is an experienced education and nonprofit leader with experience designing and scaling initiatives that advance college access, student success, and educational equity. She has led large-scale programs, developed high-performing teams, and built cross-sector partnerships to expand opportunity for first-generation and historically underserved students.

Most recently, Wanda served as Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at Let’s Get Ready, where she led organization-wide strategic initiatives to strengthen organizational performance, enhance governance systems, and align teams around measurable impact goals. In previous roles, she oversaw multi-state programming and used data-driven approaches to improve program quality and scale. She is aligned with the mission of Summer Search, believing that students are innately equipped to transform their lives through mentoring and guidance.

Wanda earned her B.A. from Framingham State University, M.Ed. from Boston University, and an Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts Boston. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, sewing, and catching up on the latest binge-worthy TV shows.
