Lariona is a Boston native and a proud alumna of Fenway High School. Her passion for positive youth development and supporting youth in post-secondary endeavors has led her to Summer Search. From the moment she was able to work, Lariona has been dedicated to youth advocacy, development, and equitable access to higher education. Her experience as a college access advisor, mentor, first-generation college student, and her overall passion for educational equity has equipped her with the necessary tools to serve students achieve their post-secondary aspirations.

Lariona attended Denison University in Granville, Ohio as a Posse Scholar where she graduated with a degree in Anthropology/Sociology and Communication. She also graduated from Suffolk University with a Master of Science in Crime and Justice. Lariona is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, aunt, youngest sister, turtle lover, and horror movie fanatic.
