Kierra is driven by the belief that everyone deserves support and their very own advocate. As a Philadelphia native, she has witnessed what it means to be with, and without, a supportive community. Growing up in such a large under-resourced city, she aims to bridge the gap between the resources available and people having knowledge about them, as well as access to them.

After graduating from Temple University with a BA in Communication Studies, and a policy, regulation, and advocacy track, she has begun to use those tools in her work to merge the gap between awareness and access. Through work in varying educational nonprofits, she has gained experience in supporting young people and helping them to realize their own potential. That is why she is grateful to be a part of the Summer Search Philadelphia team. She looks forward to continuing to serve the community that she grew up in and aiding in creating a lasting positive impact with those she meets.
