Karthik is a seasoned product and technology leader with over 20 years of experience building new technologies, customer experiences, and businesses at companies including Microsoft, Amazon, and Chewy. He is currently a senior executive at Granicus, a leading provider in government technology, where he serves as general manager over the company's emerging technologies and AI portfolio. Prior to that, he was a vice president at Chewy overseeing key pillars of the business including Autoship, search, personalization, payments, and loyalty, as well as launching new customer experiences such as Chewy's new membership program, Chewy+. At Amazon, Karthik spent 11 years building and launching new businesses, from Kindle Unlimited to Treasure Truck to Luxury Stores, where he specialized in taking new ideas from concept to market, then leading them as they scaled. He studied computational biology, computer science, and mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania. Karthik lives on Mercer Island with his wife Madhuri, daughter Aasha, and son Jayin.
