Jamey Spencer leads Builders Vision’s institutional private investment efforts. He is involved in strategy development, investing, and portfolio management for various investment pools. Prior to joining Builders Vision, Jamey was a managing director and shareholder at Pathstone, where he acted as a strategic investment advisor to multigenerational families and charitable endowments. Jamey has spent two decades focused on private investments, including roles with Jordan Park, Cambridge Associates, The Riverside Company, Morgan Creek Capital Management, Fort Point Capital, and Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors. He began his career in energy M&A and corporate finance with J.P. Morgan. Jamey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Robert Toigo Foundation fellow. He serves on the Investment Committee of the Marin Community Foundation, the Board of Directors for Summer Search Bay Area, the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Finance Committee for the Rosenberg Foundation, the Bay Area Development Council for U.S. Soccer, and the College Board of Visitors for Wake Forest University, and previously served on the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer Investment Advisory Committee.
