Position: High School Program Manager | Boston
Imani moved to Boston less than five years ago after earning her undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and Human Services from the University of Delaware. Drawn by her interest in community advocacy and social justice, she pursued graduate studies at Suffolk University, where she earned a Master of Science in Crime and Justice. Her academic background, coupled with hands-on experience, fuels her deep commitment to improving the lives of underserved youth.
Imani began her nonprofit career as a therapeutic mentor for children and families involved with the Department of Children and Families. Her dedication to providing young people with meaningful resources, guidance, and opportunities is central to her mission—one she now continues at Summer Search.
Outside of work, Imani is always seeking new experiences. She’s a concert enthusiast who has seen over 84 artists live, and she loves adventure—whether it’s traveling to new places, exploring hidden corners of the city, or picking up a new skill. (She recently learned how to snowboard!) A proud suburban girl now thriving in the heart of Boston, Imani brings energy, empathy, and enthusiasm to everything she does.
