As a first-generation Chinese American and College Bound St. Louis alumna, Christa is a strong advocate for helping young people reach their full potential by providing access to resources and educational opportunities that may otherwise be out of reach without the support of college access programming.

Christa received her MSW from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where she received clinical training. Originally from the Midwest, Christa moved to New York City after graduation, where she began her career in case management before pivoting to nonprofit grant writing. Bringing a unique combination of fundraising expertise and direct service as a social worker, Christa is excited to join Summer Search's Institutional Partnerships team to further their growth and impact in helping young people thrive.

In her free time, Christa enjoys solo traveling, listening to true crime podcasts, and strength training.
