Bay Area Roundtable: The Power of the Mentor-Mentee Relationship (Virtual)

January 29 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Bay Area Roundtable: The Power of the Mentor-Mentee Relationship

Thursday, January 29, 5:00 – 6:00PM PT

At the heart of Summer Search is a powerful, trusting relationship between mentors and young people, one that grows alongside our Summer Searchers as they navigate high school, postsecondary pathways, and early adulthood.

We invite you to join us for our next Roundtable Conversation, focused on the mentor/mentee relationship in action. This conversation will feature one of our dedicated Summer Search mentors alongside a first-year postsecondary Summer Searcher, offering an honest, reflective look at how this partnership evolves, what it takes to build trust, and why sustained mentorship matters.

Together, we’ll explore:

  • What meaningful mentorship looks like from both perspectives
  • How mentors support young people through transition and uncertainty
  • The long-term impact of showing up consistently for a Summer Searcher

Whether you’re a longtime supporter, mentor, or simply curious to learn more about the relationships that make Summer Search work, we hope you’ll join us for this thoughtful conversation.
