Bay Area Round Table: Virtual

May 14 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

For many young people, the chapter after high school graduation brings new independence alongside very real questions about identity, belonging, finances, family expectations, and long-term direction.

At Summer Search, we recognize that there is no single definition of success after high school. While many of our students pursue college, others choose community college, work, gap experiences, or alternative pathways. What unites them is not the specific route they take, but the leadership skills, self-awareness, and confidence they build along the way.

We invite you to join our next Roundtable Conversation featuring Summer Searchers who will speak candidly about their lived experiences. They will share what surprised them about life after high school, what felt challenging, how they made key decisions, and how mentorship supported them through moments of transition.

Together, we will explore:

  • How students define success for themselves after high school
  • The emotional and practical realities of stepping into postsecondary life
  • How consistent mentorship strengthens agency and resilience
  • What young people say they truly need during periods of change

This conversation offers a chance to listen directly to students as they reflect on this pivotal chapter in their lives. We hope you will join us for an honest and thoughtful dialogue about what it takes to move forward with intention and confidence.
