Robert Okun is a retired Senior Partner and Chief Investment Officer at Oak Hill Advisors, where he was responsible for the firm’s overall investment strategy and portfolio management for nearly two decades. Prior to joining Oak Hill Advisors in 2001, Mr. Okun was Executive Vice President and Member of the Executive Committee at US Bancorp Libra, in charge of High Yield Sales, Trading and Research. Previously, he was a Managing Director at UBS Securities LLC, where he was responsible for all High Yield Sales and Trading activities. Mr. Okun began his career at Salomon Brothers Inc.

Mr. Okun was a 2019 Harvard University Fellow at the Advanced Leadership Initiative, a university-wide social impact fellowship. His focus was on the inequality of opportunities and educational outcomes in the U.S.
