Stephany Rodriguez

Position: Career Navigator and Internship Manager | NYC

Stephany is passionate about supporting people to make their dreams come true. As a firm believer that the most important relationship is the one you have with yourself, Stephany works with people in a holistic manner. She has spent her career focused on postsecondary transitions and supporting high school students through their individual journeys. Stephany has experience as a Bridge Coach, Partnership Coordinator, College Counselor, and Alumni Coordinator. Informing the community regarding the different career opportunities available is extremely important to her. Stephany has hosted post-secondary fairs to increase awareness of trade school, certificate programs, civil service careers, beauty school, and college.

As a first-generation graduate from the State University of New York at Oswego, Stephany’s biggest lesson is that it takes a village. She studied Public justice with a minor in Human Development. In her college experience, she supported students through their transition out of college with her work at the Career Service office through resumes, cover letters, graduate school applications, and internship searches. In addition, she volunteered for Adopt a Grandparent program, Habitat for Humanity, and Mentor Oswego. Her favorite experience was being a Research Assistant for a study abroad experience in India.

Stephany is a multifaceted individual who enjoys art in all forms. She has hosted community events such as hikes, yoga, and networking opportunities in NYC. In addition, Stephany has awarded the Working Progress scholarship to two college students to alleviate financial stressors. Her goal is to continue to break stereotypes and continuously evolve.
