Jamaica Plain, MA. | JP is the place I call home and where I work at Summer Search Boston. This vibrant neighborhood, with both green spaces and bustling city streets, is where I feel a deep sense of community.

MY BIO:

Lauren has dedicated her career to the social sector, holding titles in roles ranging from development, to grants administration and DEI strategy at Greater Boston nonprofits. Her work has been focused on creating educational and financial opportunities for young people and families, with emphasis on participant-centered partnership development and program design.

She is a passionate collaborator who believes in supporting organizational cultures that are inclusive, trust-based, and support strong shared values. Most recently at UpTogether, she fundraised and helped implement some of the region’s first unrestricted cash initiatives, working with government and philanthropy to administer no-strings-attached funds to hundreds of participants with limited incomes.

Lauren holds an English Major and Law and Society Minor from William Smith College. In her free time, she enjoys watching documentaries, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Boston. She lives with her husband and two cats in Jamaica Plain, MA.
