High school program staff work collaboratively to deliver all aspects of programming for high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Sample roles are Program Associates (or “Mentors” as we call them internally,) Summer Programs Coordinator, College Access Coordinator, Program Operations Coordinator, Program Manager, and Program Directors.


With a focus on college success, career readiness, and financial well-being, our Post-Secondary team supports Summer Searchers as they navigate life after high school. Alumni Relations staff build and maintain relationships – and offer opportunities for networking, volunteering, and philanthropy -- with our amazing network of over 3,400 alumni!


Strategy, innovation, and evaluation, oh my! Our program development team is comprised of national and regional staff who develop, refine, and implement our programming for young people, as well as training and professional development for program staff across the organization.


Our greatest asset is our people. The talent team focuses on recruiting, hiring, training, managing, developing, and supporting staff across the full employee lifecycle. This team also drives our organizational learning and practices in equity, diversity, and inclusion.


To raise $23M annually, Summer Search depends on our amazing development team to raise funds, build relationships with donors, organize events, and engage volunteers and board members. Each site has its own development team that works in close partnership with our national development.


These are the people who keep Summer Search running day-to-day. This includes payroll and benefits management, facilities and office management, and accounting and finance. For anyone with a high attention to detail and exceptional customer service skills, this team is for you!


The Marketing and Communications team believes by amplifying student voices, we ensure Summer Search puts its best face forward. This team is responsible for digital and print communications, including our annual reports, event materials, and social media. As a resource for the entire network, the marketing team is focused on leading internal clients to leverage Summer Search’s brand across all channels of communication.


Our senior management team (SMT) is comprised of our CEO, COO, Vice Presidents of Talent, Program, and Development, and our five regional Executive Directors. Together, this team strives to uphold Summer Search’s vision, mission, and values through collaborative and equitable leadership.
