Ting grew up in Northern Virginia, just outside of Washington, DC. He attended the University of Virginia for his undergraduate degree and recently received his MBA from The Wharton School. While at Wharton, Ting became involved with Summer Search through the Wharton Nonprofit Board Fellows Program and connected with their mission to improve the lives of underserved students.

As a first-generation immigrant and college student, he is passionate about improving access for other students to succeed. Currently, Ting works as Director of Finance at Nabis, a Y-Combinator-backed startup focused on 3rd party logistics services and software.
