Shubhi grew up in the Bay Area, in Pleasanton. She then went to college at Saint Mary’s College of California, where she got involved with nonprofits and developed a passion for education equity.

Currently, she works at fintech company Nova Credit, which aims to power a fair and inclusive financial system for the world. She works on a variety of projects ranging from product analytics to customer-facing initiatives.

One of the reasons Shubhi joined Nova Credit was because of their mission-driven organization, it’s also the main reason she’s a part of Summer Search as well. Finance and Education go hand in hand, and unfortunately our society overlooks issues of equity and inclusion in both. She feels strongly about bridging the education and wealth gap in America and her drive and passion for a fairer and more just society are what keeps her going.
