Pronouns: She/Her
Naima is fiercely committed to the liberation of Black and Brown communities and wishes to center joy and play in everyday life. Naima is from San Francisco and spent the last twenty odd years in NYC. She went to the New School, loves to wear her many hats and is invigorated by working with young people, and leading her team through commitment and passion. She is comfortable being sister, friend, activist, leader, counselor, advisor, coach challenger and mentor for her people and fights for them every single day.
On a day Naima isn’t working, she is usually laughing, talking emphatically, cozied up with some of her favorite novels, frolicking around New Orleans, biking, dancing, listening to Sade, playing softball and being lit up with joy by her nieces.
