iD Tech

iD Tech is a summer experiences partner that provides students, typically aged 7-19, with a dynamic and immersive learning experience in the fields of technology and computer science.

Hosted at University of Washington, the program offers a wide range of courses in coding, game development, 3D printing, robotics, AI, and more, catering to both beginners and advanced learners. Students have the opportunity to explore their tech interests, engage in hands-on projects, and collaborate with like-minded peers, all while being mentored by skilled instructors.

iD Tech at UW not only equips participants with valuable STEM skills but also fosters a passion for innovation, setting them on a path for future success in the tech industry.

  • Session 2: Jun 30-5, 2024
  • Session 3: Jul 7-12, 2024
  • Session 4: Jul 14-19, 2024
  • Session 5: Jul 21-26, 2024
  • Session 6: Jul 28-Aug 2, 2024
  • Session 7: Aug 4-9, 2024
  • Session 8: Aug 11-16, 2024
Participant Mix: Mix of students from across the country and internationally. You may not have another Summer Searcher in your chosen field, but there could be Summer Searchers attending the same week as you.
Accommodations: Dorms, sharing room with other participant(s).
Bathrooms: Shared dorm bathrooms
Phone Access: You'll have your phone throughout the program, but please be fully present during classes, team meetings, and guest presentations.
COVID Policy: TBA
Travel (In State):  In state students are eligible for transit cards if attending a commuter program instead of residential.
Travel (Out of State): Summer Search will provide flight transportation to participants attending from regions outside of Seattle. (a government-issued ID is required!)

  • Experienced instructors and mentors guide you through tech-related projects, providing expertise and support throughout your learning journey.
  • Live on a college campus and navigate living with peers on your own.
