As we recently shared, National Apprenticeship Week (Nov. 14-18, 2022) is a nationwide celebration to showcase the successes and value of Apprenticeship Programs for rebuilding our economy, advancing racial and gender equity, and supporting underserved communities.

This event, hosted by Aon y The Philadelphia Apprentice Network, celebrated stories of women in apprentices while highlighting opportunities to expand pathways for women to enter and lead in a range of fields in which women have traditionally been underrepresented.

Sylvia was also featured in Aon’s Apprentice Network video, where leaders from around the country shared about the power and impact of Apprenticeship programs on young people in their communities.

Once again, we’d like to thank Aon for their generous support and partnership with Summer Search over the years, and we’re excited to see how our Summer Search estudiantes y exalumnos are doing as current participants in Aon’s Apprenticeship Program!

Thank you Sylvia for always being a champion and evangelist for Summer Search and our young people!

And in case you missed it, read our blog story The Power of Apprenticeships featuring Marc Armstrong, Enterprise Client Leader and Managing Principal at Aon.
