Emmie Monsein served as an Executive Director in Moelis & Company’s Boston office, where she advised on transactions across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and recapitalizations / restructurings. Emmie started her career with Moelis out of college, and returned to the firm in 2018 after spending time working in private equity and at a health care start up.

Emmie has been involved with Summer Search since 2016 as a member and co-chair of the Associate Board. Originally from Minnesota, she spent her summers canoeing across southern Canada as a camper and then trip leader. This is where she was first introduced to Summer Search, having had the privilege of leading a canoe trip with 4 incredible Summer Search-ers from across the country.

Emmie holds a BS in finance and BA in history from Boston College, and lives in Boston’s South End. She is a proud dog mom of Black Sabbath (Sabbs for short), her 165lb Great Dane.
