ABOUT US
Founded in 1996, Summer Search Boston is proud to serve more than 2,500 young people from the communities of Boston, Malden, Chelsea, Cambridge, Everett, and Lynn.
Land Acknowledgement
Our Boston office resides on the unceded land of the Pawtucket and Massa-adchu-es-et (Massachusett) peoples, past and present. We honor with gratitude the land itself, and the people who have stewarded it throughout the generations.
We recognize this as just one step in acknowledging the history of forced removal of indigenous people from their land and our work toward racial justice.
We ask you to join us in acknowledging the Pawtucket and Massa-adchu-es-et communities, their elders both past and present, and future generations.

Become an Internship Partner
Summer Search works with organizations across Boston to provide talent recruitment support and connect Summer Searchers to internship opportunities. Our intern partners access a pool of more than 350 Summer Search post-secondary students and support their corporate responsibility goals and employee engagement with student-facing and other volunteer opportunities.

Join our Associate Board
The Associate Board (AB) is a group of young professionals who are committed to supporting Summer Search Boston by serving as ambassadors, volunteering, and fundraising for the organization through events and engaging their networks.

Become an Annual Donor
Your annual support fuels our work to provide professional mentoring, summer experiences, and post-secondary and career support to more students each year.
Become a Volunteer Career Coach (CCP) beginning Summer 2026
As a volunteer with our Career Coach Program (CCP) you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with a Summer Search Post-Secondary Participant or Alumni. Our participants are diverse, reflective individuals, most of whom are first-generation college students, and many of whom will be first-generation professionals. By working with a Summer Search participant, you’ll have the opportunity to use your professional experience and knowledge to advise them on all aspects of career exploration.
