The Associate Board (AB) is a group of young professionals who are committed to supporting Summer Search Boston's life-changing work of providing students from low-income backgrounds and first-generation college attendees in the Boston area with full-time, professional mentoring and transformative experiences. With critical support from the AB each year, Summer Search Boston helps to advance the lives of the students it serves so that they graduate from high school and college, ready to enter the workforce, with the tools to become leaders in their communities.

Members contribute to Summer Search Boston by fulfilling the following requirements:

1. Understand Summer Search's mission and programs and serve as an enthusiastic ambassador.

2. Encourage new individuals to join the community, bring friends and colleagues to Summer Search events, and/or if appropriate introduce your company to Summer Search!

3. Secure an annual "give or get" contribution for Summer Search Boston (min. $1,000) during each year of membership-through event individual ticket sales, sponsorships or third-party events.

4. Commit to actively participating on the Associate Board for at least one year and attend the majority of monthly meetings and AB sponsored events.
