Welcome to another edition of #Snapshot, where we bring you a little slice of what’s going on at Summer Search.
It’s college decision time!

NYC-lettersNew York City’s wall of college acceptance letters

Yesterday, May 1, was National College Decision Day, the official deadline for high school seniors to make their final college decisions by submitting their SIR (Statement of Intent to Register). #DecisionDay
Not to be confused with College Signing Day with the First Lady, which was last week.
This is the culmination of each senior Summer Searcher’s long journey to college — researching schools, writing personal statements, sending in applications, navigating the maze of financial aid, receiving acceptance letters and finally, choosing the best fit with their families and mentors.
So, here’s a quick look at just a few of the Summer Searchers who’ve made their final decisions, and where they’ll be attending in the fall!
