On Tuesday, April 20th, more than 600 Summer Search San Francisco friends and family (new and old!) gathered at the Four Seasons to celebrate our 2010 Leadership Luncheon, Looking Back, Moving Forward. On Thursday, November 12, 2009, 302 Summer Search supporters from the financial services community attended the Bay Area Investors Dinner at the Carnelian Room in San Francisco! On October 28th, 2009, Summer Search San Francisco hosted its annual Fall Event, celebrating the accomplishments of our 171 juniors and seniors. Over 600 people- consisting of students, families, staff, board members, and donors- gathered to eat, share stories, and listen to the inspiring narratives presented by our three student speakers. San Francisco Thanks Jae Eiu Yi ’96 for Giving Back!
Returning to the Bay Area after 11 years in Southern California, Jae works at a private equity firm called Coastwood Capital Group. Being close again to his parents and watching his nephews grow up, reminded Jae of his gratitude towards Summer Search. Inspired, Jae reached out to his friends and colleagues, told them about the impact of Summer Search in his own life and in the lives of other deserving students who have since entered the program.
